It's not that easy that this fellowship of sound makers gets an opportunity to meet each other and talk about what their music was, what is now and which one will it be in the next future.
Thanks to the release of this double cd compilation focused on the music of north-east of Italy back in the eighties, this rare opportunity has finally become possible.
A great amount of creative energy in a small place gives the impression that old memories might be converted into brand new ideas to enrich individual musical experience ... and, why not, even in a new collective dimension.
Time will tell.
For now it has been a great pleasure to listen to the new (still unreleased) album by Massimo Filippi filed under the name of his well known band Nite Lite and aptly entitled "STILL" ... 12 tracks floating between the resounding memories of the old days but with a new and original perspective.
At the same time RUINS showcased to these highly entitled friends some of the more recent recordings unfortunately still far from being officially released.
It was a great pleasure to receive positive reactions from these long time friends and comrades of sounds.
We are already looking forward the next chance to share some time (and sounds) together!
